Red Magic continues to expand the gaming ecosystem when introducing Magnetic Cooler 6 Pro+, a new magnetic cooling fan model for smartphones. The product will officially open for sale from July 31 in China with a listed price of 209 Yuan, equivalent to about 760,000 VND. Guests who book early will enjoy a price of 189 Yuan, about 690,000 VND.
The most notable point of Magnetic Cooler 6 Pro+ is its sustained cooling capacity of 30W and can peak at 33W. This is a very high capacity level in the phone cooling fan segment, targeting devices using flagship chips such as Snapdragon 8 Elite, Dimensity 9500 or new gaming phone models.
Red Magic uses high-density TEC cooling panels with 124 semiconductor pairs, contact area up to 1,640 mm². This technology is similar to the system the company used on the Red Magic 8 Pro smartphone to increase the efficiency of heat transfer from the body to the cooler.
In addition to the TEC panel, the device is also equipped with a two-stage thermally conductive silicon pad, cold-forged aluminum heatsink and a 7-blade fan that rotates up to 6,000 revolutions per minute. The noise level is only about 34 dB, quiet enough to play games while chatting or livestreaming.
According to Red Magic, the device can help reduce nThe maximum phone temperature reaches 77 degrees Celsius under the company's testing conditions, while the cooling surface can reach minus 21 degrees Celsius in a laboratory environment. However, the actual heat level when used will depend on environmental temperature, humidity, charging capacity and processor load.
Another advantage is that users can control all operations through the phone application with many different modes including smart mode that automatically adjusts fan speed according to temperature, manual mode and high-performance Destroyer Mode for long gaming sessions.
The device weighs about 102 g, uses a 14N magnet ring to attach directly to the back of compatible phones. For models without built-in magnets, Red Magic sells a separate clamp. The fan uses USB-C power and is designed to direct hot air to the back to limit heat blowing into the hand when held horizontally to play games.
