Is a backpack smart enough to replace a suitcase for short business trips and become the new standard for office workers?
Xiaomi has just introduced Mijia Large-Capacity Business Backpack 2 on the Xiaomi Youpin platform. The product will open a crowdfunding program at a price of 449 yuan, equivalent to about 1,650,000 VND, before returning to the official retail price of 599 yuan, equivalent to about 2,200,000 VND.
The new backpack model is aimed at office users, business people and those who frequently travel. Designed in a minimalist style but optimized for carrying laptops, documents, clothes and technology accessories on trips of 1 to 3 days.
The highlight of Mijia Business Backpack 2 lies in the high-density nylon material combined with microfiber leather details. Xiaomi says the outer fabric developed by Liteshield is water-proof, oil-proof and stain-proof. In the company's standard testing, the material withstands approximately 50,000 wear cycles, providing increased durability for everyday use.
The 23-liter capacity is likened by Xiaomi to a small 14-inch suitcase. The design of two independent compartments helps separate the clothing area from the laptop and documents, limiting collisions between items.
Laptop compartment is designedShockproof suspension, supports laptops up to 16 inches in size. The inside is lined with soft velvet to reduce the risk of scratches. There is also a separate area for charging, mice, connection cables and other technology accessories.
The additional compartments are also reasonably arranged, including an expandable front pocket, a top compartment for cards or headphones, and a magnetic pocket for phones and keys. The two side compartments can hold a 500 ml water bottle or an umbrella, and are waterproofed to prevent wetting the main compartment.
Regarding carrying capacity, the backpack uses large straps with thick padding, a mesh back with ventilation grooves to help reduce heat accumulation when worn for a long time. The top handle is also padded, and there is an additional strap to pull the suitcase to make moving at the airport or train station more convenient.
