On September 24, 2025, HONOR officially introduced HONOR X9d in Malaysia. According to information released by HONOR, this is a mid-range smartphone model focusing on three factors including huge battery life, high durability and AI experience on the Android 15 platform and MagicOS 9.
The biggest highlight of the HONOR X9d is the 8,300 mAh silicon-carbon battery. HONOR says the device can handle about three days of typical use under its testing conditions. The device supports HONOR SuperCharge 66W fast charging and 7.5W wired reverse charging.
In terms of performance, HONOR The device comes pre-installed with Android 15 and MagicOS 9 interface.
On the front, HONOR is equipped with a 6.79-inch AMOLED screen with 2,640 × 1,200 pixel resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and announced maximum brightness of 6,000 nits under certain display conditions.
The camera system includes a 108 MP main sensor with integrated OIS optical image stabilization and a 16 MP front camera. HONOR said the device supports 4K resolution video recording.
Another notable point is protection. HONOR X9d meets IP66, IP68, IP69 andIP69K depending on distribution market. According to HONOR, the device is also designed to withstand better impacts with the ability to withstand drops from a height of about 2.5 m under the company's internal testing conditions.
