Is a heavy and bulky smartphone with a 15,000 mAh battery and IP68 and IP69K resistance more practical than a thin and light flagship when going to the beach, fishing or working at the construction site?

IIIF150 is promoting B2 Ultra 2026 as an ultra-durable smartphone for harsh environments. The company's media images focus on use on boats, jet skis, and fishing, and emphasize the ability to continue filming when the device encounters splashes of water. This is not only a way to advertise its rugged appearance but is consistent with the product orientation that IIIF150 officially announced for B2 Ultra 2026.

1. IP68 and IP69K are the big highlight

According to the official product page of IIIF150, B2 Ultra 2026 is announced to simultaneously meet IP68 and IP69K standards for water and dust resistance. At the SVIAZ 2026 exhibition taking place from April 7 to 10, 2026 in Moscow, IIIF150 also introduced devices with MIL-STD-810H standards and announced the ability to withstand drops from a height of 1.8 meters to concrete surfaces.

The point to understand correctly is that IP69K is mainly related to resistance to high pressure water jets and high temperatures under standard testing conditions. Therefore, promotional content about using the phone in strong splashing water environments is suitable for rugged phone positioning, but should not be interpreted.into a device that can be used indefinitely in all seawater conditions.

2. 15,000 mAh battery turns the phone into a camping device

The battery capacity is confirmed by IIIF150 at 15,000 mAh. The manufacturer also equipped with reverse charging capability, allowing B2 Ultra 2026 to act as a backup power source for other devices. IIIF150 claims a standby time of about three months, but this is the manufacturer's data and the actual time will depend on mobile network, screen brightness, GPS, camera and usage intensity.

3. 200 MP camera combined with 64 MP night vision camera

B2 Ultra 2026 is equipped with a 200 MP main camera and a 64 MP night vision camera by IIIF150. According to the company, the night vision camera is capable of recording in completely dark environments at a distance of up to 20 meters. This is notable equipment for people working at night, camping or outdoor activities, although actual image quality still needs to be evaluated independently instead of relying solely on sensor resolution.

A notable change compared to the previous B2 Ultra is the rear design. The old B2 Ultra has a 1.1-inch round secondary screen, while the 2026 B2 Ultra version shifts the focus to a high-intensity camping light. IIIF150 said this light system has many modes for lighting the camping area, working in the dark and signaling an emergency.

4. Helio G100 shows that this is not a gaming smartphone

IIIF150 confirms B2 Ultra 2026 uses MediaTek Helio G100. This is a very important detail when evaluating the device because the strength of the B2 Ultra 2026 lies in the battery, resistance and outdoor features rather than flagship performance.

Therefore, users should not look at the strong mechanical design and assume that this is a high-performance smartphone. B2 Ultra 2026 is more suitable for groups that need the phone to operate for long periods of time, at construction sites, picnics, fishing, going to the beach or in environments with risk of impact and contact with water.

5. In return for survival is size and weight

The 15,000 mAh battery and impact-resistant structure make the B2 Ultra series unable to compete with conventional smartphones in terms of thinness and lightness. The previous generation B2 Ultra had a weight of about 465 g and a body of about 19.9 mm thick. Because the B2 Ultra 2026 design has been changed, it is not advisable to assume that the old model's size numbers apply to the 2026 version when IIIF150 has not confirmed them on checked official sources.

This is the core trade-off of rugged phones. Buyers get a huge battery, durable build, night vision camera and camping light but have to accept a device that is significantly bulkier than a typical smartphone.

IIIF150 currently lists the B2 Ultra 2026 at 399 euros on the official product catalog, but tThe product being checked is showing out of stock or unavailable status. Due to fluctuating exchange rates and no basis for genuine distribution prices in Vietnam, the price converted to VND should not be considered the selling price in the Vietnamese market.

B2 Ultra 2026 is therefore a device with quite clear orientation. It's not trying to be the thinnest or most powerful phone, but rather focuses on a different question altogether — how well can a smartphone survive and continue to perform when users take it out of normal use?
