Ulefone officially announced Armor 22 Pro, an upgraded version of the Armor 22 series aimed at a group of users who need durable smartphones for construction sites, outdoor activities and harsh environments. According to information published by Ulefone, the global sale of Armor 22 Pro begins on August 17, 2026 with a starting price of 239.99 USD. Highlights emphasized by the company include a relatively thin rugged design, dual 64 MP cameras, MediaTek Helio G200 chip and the ability to use eSIM.
Most notable is the dual rear camera system. Ulefone announced that Armor 22 Pro uses a 64 MP main camera combined with a 64 MP night vision camera. This is a configuration aimed at the need for observing and shooting in extremely low light conditions, which is one of the characteristics of specialized rugged smartphones. The previous generation of Armor 22 was also equipped with a 64 MP Sony IMX686 main camera and a 64 MP night vision camera with two infrared lights.

Accordingly, the price of 239.99 USD is equivalent to about 6.27 million VND, while the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB versions are priced from 269.99 USD, equivalent to about 7.06 million VND. Actual price in Vietnam if distributed may vary due to taxes, shipping and policies of each retailer. The central exchange rate announced by the State Bank of Vietnam on August 11, 2026 is 25,516 VND for 1 USD.
The move to the Helio G200 is a notable change compared to the Armor 22. According to the official specifications currently published by Ulefone for the Armor 22, the older generation uses the MediaTek Helio G96 with a maximum 2.05 GHz eight-core CPU and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Armor 22 also has a 6.58-inch FHD+ 120 Hz IPS display, 6,600 mAh battery, 33 W fast charging, NFC and microSD card expansion.
Another point of interest on the Armor 22 Pro is the eSIM. This is a meaningful upgrade for people who often travel, work internationally or want to switch carriers without having to change the physical SIM. In the introduction of Armor 22 Pro, Ulefone directly made eSIM one of the outstanding features next to Helio G200 and the 64 MP camera system.
However, Armor 22 Pro should not be understood simply as a high-performance smartphone just because of the Pro suffix. The core value of the device still lies in its rugged and capable designIt caters to environments where conventional smartphones may be at a disadvantage. With the previous Armor 22, Ulefone announced IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H standards, of which IP68 was tested at a maximum depth of 1.5 m for up to 30 minutes under controlled conditions.
Ulefone has not yet fully provided on a verified official source all the detailed parameters of the new Armor 22 Pro such as battery capacity, charging capacity, size and screen resolution in the collated launch announcement. Therefore, the parameters of the old generation Armor 22 should not be automatically considered the parameters of Armor 22 Pro until Ulefone announces the complete configuration table.
Keeping the Armor 22 design but upgrading the processing platform, adding eSIM and continuing to place the 64 MP night vision camera in the center shows that Ulefone is choosing to improve a relatively compact rugged design instead of following the trend of extremely large capacity batteries making phones increasingly thick and heavy. The price of about 6.27 to 7.06 million VND will make Armor 22 Pro a notable choice in the specialized smartphone group, but actual competitiveness still depends on full configuration, certified durability and distribution policy when the device officially opens for sale globally on August 17, 2026.
