Is a phone model bearing the Tonino Lamborghini imprint but using a mid-range chip and 45W charger really worth the price of nearly 16 million VND in the highest version?
TECNO has introduced POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition in the Thai market, developed from the collaboration between TECNO and Italian luxury lifestyle brand Tonino Lamborghini. According to information from TECNO Mobile Thailand, the product will begin to be officially distributed from August 21, 2026.
The biggest difference lies in the black and red design, hexagonal pattern, Pulse Line strip, Tonino Lamborghini logo made of metal material and rear matrix lighting system. The collaboration theme is also included in app icons, wallpapers, launch effects, lighting effects, and unique ringtones. This is a version branded Tonino Lamborghini, not a product directly developed by Automobili Lamborghini.
Regarding configuration, TECNO confirmed that the device uses MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate manufactured on a 4 nm process, Mali-G615 MC2 GPU and P1 graphics chip that supports frame interpolation. The cooling system includes a 5,000 mm² vapor chamber, a total cooling area of more than 22,000 mm² and a nine-layer structure.

The main camera uses a Sony LYTIA 700C sensor and OIS optical image stabilization. TECNO equips additional AI tools such as YouTube content summarization, editing support, AI LightMaster 2.0 and noise processing during calls. However, the actual effectiveness of these features still needs to be evaluated on commercial machines.

Products are distributed in Thailand through BaNANA, IT CITY, JAYMART, TG, Singer, TRUE and a number of e-commerce platforms. The opening sale program was announced with a TECNO Tonino Lamborghini Edition backpack worth 1,099 baht, about 867,000 VND, and TECNO Watch 3 Active worth 1,299 baht, about 1,025,000 VND. Conditions for receiving gifts may depend on each dealer and actual quantity.
POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition shows that TECNO is taking the POVA line beyond the image of affordable gaming phones to approach the fashion and lifestyle product segment. The 1.5K 144 Hz screen, 6,500 mAh battery, 7.39 mm thin design and Tonino Lamborghini identity make a clear difference, but 45W charging and the Dimensity 7400 Ultimate platform will be two factors for buyers to consider when the price of the highest version approaches 16 million VND. There is currently no official announcement about the selling price or distribution plan for this version in Vietnam.
