Information that is being noticed by the Vietnamese technology community is that the Nothing Phone 4 series may appear in Vietnam on August 20, 2026, with memory configurations of 8GB RAM and 128GB, 8GB RAM and 256GB, 12GB RAM and 256GB. However, through checking existing official sources and reliable technology sources, we have not found an official announcement from Nothing confirming August 20, 2026 as the launch or sale date in Vietnam. Therefore, this milestone should currently be considered unofficial information.
The point that needs to be clarified most is the name Nothing Phone 4 series. Nothing will not release the Nothing Phone 4 flagship in 2026. CEO Carl Pei has confirmed that the company will skip the Phone 4 flagship generation this year and continue to use Phone 3 in the flagship position, while the focus in 2026 is on the Phone 4a series.

Nothing confirms that Phone 4a uses Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 with UFS 3.1 memory. The company also equipped with a new Glyph Bar system instead of the traditional Glyph layout. According to Nothing, Glyph Bar has 63 mini LEDs divided into six independent light zones.
Phone 4a Pro is pushed further in terms of performance and photography. Nothing confirms that the device uses Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and a three-lens camera system, while promoting a maximum digital zoom capability of 140x. The 32MP selfie camera uses an 89-degree viewing angle, wider than the Phone 3a Pro according to the company's data.
Another notable detail is that the Phone 4a Pro has a screen announced by Nothing that reaches a maximum brightness of 5,000 nits. Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 is also a clear step in the hierarchy between the Pro version and Phone 4a using Snapdragon 7s Gen 4.
The standard Phone 4a still has a significant advantage in memory choice. Nothing confirmed nInternational pricing at launch starts at £349 or €349 for the 8GB and 128GB versions. The 8GB and 256GB versions are priced at 389 euros in some markets, while the 12GB and 256GB versions are priced at 399 pounds or 429 euros. This is the international price at launch, not the official selling price in Vietnam.
Notably, the images that are spreading in Vietnam do not only show Phone 4a. Some pictures show a design corresponding to Nothing Phone 4b, another model in the 2026 catalog. Therefore, information that there is another model being negotiated to hit Vietnamese shelves is not enough basis to conclude that it is exactly Phone 4b without confirmation from Nothing or the distributor.
At the present time, it can be confirmed with certainty that the Nothing Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro are Nothing's official products in 2026, while the flagship Nothing Phone 4 will not appear this year.
